Scurri.com is a service that is looking to change the world of shipping by making it easy and affordable for consumers to ship goods whilst making it profitable for transport providers to sell their excess capacity.
We do this by making it easy for consumers and small businesses who need to ship goods to find transporter providers looking to fill their excess capacity.
Rory had damaged alloy wheels on his car in some of the large potholes that are often found on our roads.
He was delighted to find a suitable set for a great price on one of the online e-Classified sites, but they were at the other side of the country and the seller did not arrange delivery.
Thinking it would be an easy task to arrange a delivery online, he went searching for a suitable transport operator and was surprised to find how difficult the task was. After eventually finding a local transport operator that was able to collect the wheels when they were passing the sellers door for a very cheap rate he realised that if it was approached properly the internet could solve this problem.
From this the idea for Scurri.com was born and the rest is history.
